Darin came to Capstone in 2004 after a career in education. He sells all lines of insurance but spends most of his time in property and casualty risks, which includes home, auto, personal umbrella, commercial liability, commercial property, commercial auto, workers’ compensation, and other types of policies. Darin loves the opportunity to meet his clients’ insurance needs and enjoys opportunities to teach people about insurance and the insurance industry.

Darin holds a bachelor of science degree from Southwest Baptist University, has both his life and health and property and casualty licenses, and in 2011, earned a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation through the National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research. Darin is also active with the Missouri Association of Insurance Agents (MAIA), where he serves on the board of directors and annually attends many association events.

In addition to his insurance career, Darin referees high school basketball and is president of the Southwest Missouri Basketball Officials Association (SMBOA). He also enjoys playing as much golf as time will allow.

Darin and his wife, Kristin, have three sons: Jack, Eli, and Max. They enjoy spending time together as a family, attending the boys’ activities, as well as spending time with friends and other family members. They are members of James River Church and enjoy the relationships they’ve made there over many years.
