Kevin Krueger

Kevin Krueger opened Capstone Insurors, Inc. in June of 1997. A one-man agency with only himself and a receptionist, Kevin’s dedication to hard work and community service saw the business grow quickly. It is now ten years later and it hasn’t stopped. With a current staff of seven, Capstone is now in their much larger office space.
“I consider myself fortunate to have chosen a field and built a business that allows me to give back to the community,” says Kevin. “Some of my favorite programs are the ones that get us out of the office and into the schools and businesses. Our Wellness School, in particular, provides educational material and resources to school nurses as they work to help school employees make healthy choices.” Capstone also sponsors the Hoops for a Hundred programs at basketball games throughout the area.
Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and has over 14 years experience in the insurance industry. He is on the Missouri Association of Independent Agents Board of Directors and Chair of the Young Agents Committee. Kevin is multi-line licensed, specializing in employee benefits. He has also received an LUTCF designation from The Life Underwriting Training Council.
Kevin and his wife, Sandy, have two sons; Bryce and Jace. Family time is a top priority for the Krueger’s and Kevin spends much of his free time coaching his sons’ teams in a variety of sports. The family attends the United Methodist Church in Bolivar.
Kristi Coburn

Kristi Coburn has been with Capstone Insurors since March, 1998. As office manager, her responsibilities include all accounting and a portion of the policy processing. Kristi earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in business administration and accounting from Drury University after graduating from Bolivar High School.
She obtained her Property & Casualty License in 1998 and earned her Certified Insurance Service Representative designation in 2001.
Kristi and her daughter, Bailey, live in Bolivar and attend the Bolivar United Methodist Church. They enjoy sports and exercise as well as going to the lake and spending time outdoors.
Kristi enjoys being active in the Bolivar Primary School PTA and volunteers as the Room Mother for her daughter’s class. She also serves as the Accounting Chair and the Corporate Sponsorship chair for the Polk County Relay For Life.
“Bolivar is a wonderful community and I am proud to live and work here,” Kristi says. “I am proud to work at Capstone Insurors where they value the community and the people in it.”
Amy McHolland

Amy McHolland joined Capstone Insurors in February, 2004 as a customer service representative. Her work includes processing new applications, taking premium payments and filing claims. She is also the friendly voice you’re most likely to hear when you call Capstone.
Amy graduated from Bolivar High School and gained valuable insurance experience working with AMS, a national firm serving the insurance industry, in Bolivar.
She and her husband, Mike, enjoy staying fit by running together. They live in Springfield and enjoy attending area high school and college ballgames whenever they can. Amy is a member of the Bolivar First Assembly of God Church.
Like many of her co-workers, Amy sited the people as her favorite part of her job. “I work with a great bunch of people,” she says. “It’s fun to see how all our different talents combine as we work to help our customers.”
Kelly Mauck

A Bolivar native, Kelly is a licensed Property and Casualty agent; however, she services auto, home, commercial, life and health policies.
She brings more than five years’ experience as a paralegal with her to Capstone and has enjoyed the transition to the insurance industry.
Kelly and her husband, Justin, have two sons; Drew and Aidan. They enjoy attending their sons’ sporting events and being active in the Bolivar First Assembly of God Church, where they are members. Kelly is also a member of the Bolivar PTA.
Kelly serves on the planning committee for Polk County’s Relay For Life as a fulfilling way to give something back to the community where she grew up.
Kelly is quick to mention her favorite aspect of her job, “The people,” she says. “Both the people I work with inside the office and the customers I serve are what allow me to enjoy coming to work each day.”
Darin Banner

In June, 2004, Darin Banner joined Capstone Insurors as an agent. He sells and services all policy lines including home, auto, life, individual health plans, group health plans, and all commercial lines.
Originally from Eldon, Darin came to Bolivar to attend Southwest Baptist University . He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in mathematics and physical education and taught math at Bolivar High School for 6 years.
Having coached both basketball and golf, Darin still enjoys refereeing high school basketball in his spare time. He also enjoys playing golf when he gets the opportunity.
As a board member of the Bolivar Area Chamber of Commerce, Darin works to help Bolivar grow. His involvement with the Chamber reflects his pride in his community.
“Attending college in Bolivar made an impression on me,” Darin says. “After taking my first teaching position at School of the Osage, I found I missed the Bolivar community. That’s when I made the choice to return. I believe there is no better place to live than Bolivar, Missouri and no better place to work than Captone Insurors.”
Jillian Griffin

A Bolivar resident for the past 11 years, Jillian Griffin graduated from Southwest Baptist University in 2007 with a bachelor's of science degree in accounting. Jillian and her husband, Kary live in Bona, MO with their son, Isaac. She enjoys both the St. Louis and Springfield Cardinals ballgames and spending time with her family and friends.
J.R. Collins

J.R. Collins joined Capstone Insurors in February, 2008. He works in life and health but deals mainly with school health insurance group plans.
J.R. holds a Specialist degree in Secondary Administration. He is retired after 33 years in education of which 20 were as a high school principal. He spent the last nine years, of his career, as principal of Bolivar High School.
He and his wife, Lauretta, have one daughter, three sons and eight grand children. J.R. and Lauretta enjoy spending as much time as they can with their kids and grand children. J.R. also enjoys officiating high school basketball, baseball and track. Other hobbies are fishing, traveling and yard work.
